Let’s shake up this historic cocktail!
There’s no cocktail more misinterpreted than the Mai Tai. This iconic cocktail of the tiki movement demands respect and definitely a Jamaican aged rum. The flavour of these great rums was not meant to be overpowered with heavy additions of fruit juices and other flavorings. And if a Mai Tai isn’t garnished with a mint sprig and a lime wedge, which symbolize a palm tree and an island, then it’s not a Mai Tai!
Baba Au Rum serves the genuine mai tai without exceptions and reversals since March 27th, 2009. The Rum Society

Supermus No 56
Pure Rhum Agricole Clement from Martinique, elegantly matches with white tea, summer fruits and the scent of a lime, introduces us to a new era of the exotism. An abstract version of a Ti Punch based upon the supremacy of pure artistic feeling.
Plunging into a treasure chest with exotic recipes from the ’70s, we discovered a cult cocktail: the Bahama Mama. Borderlining on kitsch, we were intrigued and inspired to transform it to a contemporary drink. From Jamaica to Guyana, we combined three rums very different in character with cold brew coffee, all shades of orange, pineapple, a subtle drop of coconut and an intricate aftertaste of licorice and cardamom. Born and raised in the urban jungle of Athens. We serve it tropical.
