Plunging into a treasure chest with exotic recipes from the ’70s, we discovered a cult cocktail: the Bahama Mama. Borderlining on kitsch, we were intrigued and inspired to transform it to a contemporary drink. From Jamaica to Guyana, we combined three rums very different in character with cold brew coffee, all shades of orange, pineapple, a subtle drop of coconut and an intricate aftertaste of licorice and cardamom.
